Ingredients

2 frozen riped bananas, peeled

1 cup frozen mixed berries (or frozen strawberries, or frozen raspberries… your choice)

1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup, or regular syrup, or white sugar)

Tools

Food processor or blender

Mixing spoon

Plastic container with a lid (used ice-cream container, used butter container, or Ziploc container)

Directions

Add bananas, berries and honey in a food processor (or a blender) and close the lid tightly. (You don’t want any unexpected facial splashes) Pulse every 5 seconds, until the mixture is well combined, approximately 4-5 minutes in total.

Tip: After blending for 1 minute, open the lid and mix the mixture with a mixing spoon so it’s well combined. Close the lid and continue blending.

Variation: Try fruits instead of berries. My all-time favourite is mango! OMG… it’s soooo good!

With a mixing spoon scoop the ice-cream mixture into a plastic container and close it with a lid. Store in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until you run out of patient and need to have this ice-cream now.

Before enjoying your ice-cream. Leave the container out to sit on the counter for 10 minutes.

Got some over-riped bananas? Feel bad about throwing them away? Stick them in the freezer and we will make some delicious ice-cream! (** Note: The banana skin will turn black in the freezer. Don’t panic! It is expected this way.)

Imagine you are serving this easy and irresistible dessert during a romantic date night to impress your partner over candle lights … or simply when you feel super lazy to walk to the store and would rather stay home in your pajamas and eat this homemade ice-cream in front of the TV! :)
It is so quick and easy to make, like 1-2-3! No preservative, no unknown additives, no fancy unpronounceable ingredients!! (I promise)

The best part: It only requires 3 ingredients! (What? For real?) Yeap, that’s it! Also, you probably already have all ingredients on hand! Ok, so let’s get ice-creamed! (I don’t think this word exists in English. Anyways, I just totally made it up.)
