You reach out in the fridge and see that fresh bunch of parsley or cilantro that you just bought over the weekend is already going BAD. Your eyes droop down, you feel guilty inside, and maybe you blame yourself for not eating those herbs quickly enough.
Feeling guilty is not fun and you shouldn’t feel guilty for stuffing every single dish with fresh parsley or cilantro (for breakfast, lunch, dinner, including in your cereal and coffee) just so you get to get rid of them quickly before they go bad.
[ ] 1 bunch of fresh herbs (Parsley, cilantro, basil…etc)
[ ] 1 air tight rectangular box
Right after you come home from a grocery trip, take that fresh bunch of parsley and stick it in a clean dry container. Close the lid and store the container in the fridge. Your herbs will last for at least a week, and if they are being nice, they can last for up to 2 weeks.
Note: Do not wash your herbs, just get them out of the grocery bag directly into the container.
What other tips you use that helps you keep the herbs last a tiny bit longer?
